Conditions are perfect on the northside. Fast and tacky.
Big news, there’s new singletrack at Red Bug and it seems like it will be nice and fast. It’s still very soft so get out there and ride it in. You’ll find it in the section up near the new playground. Thanks to whoever cut this in.
Bad news is the Phipps land managers are cutting in fire breaks for a burn and have plowed my favorite section of Phipps double track into a lumpy, soft, rutty, slow mess. Isn’t a double track dirt road for all intents and purposes a fire break? Why plow it? I think I’ll email Chuck Goodheart and see if they can drive it a few times to pack it back down.

Yeah, we found all of that soft, plowed road last night. No biggie, we just stayed on the HT all night. Live Oak, Redbug and 90% of the HT will leave your legs tired! I stood up on the last powerline climb home, but the legs informed me I was done, and that I should go ahead and sit back down for the rest of the night!
That’s what the ladies call me- fast and tacky.
Yeah, I was doing a freeburt over at the HT and my Klondyke rims got buried in some of that 212 mud. Luckily I still have my spare Durduckin A9 and was able to complete the Header in less than an hour.
Durduckin A9’s suck dude!!!!!!
